Small bowel obstruction due to T-cell lymphoma

A frontal CT scan with contrast enhancement of a 62-year-old male. Notice dilated small bowel loops with hydroaeric levels. The transition point of the small bowel obstruction caused by the iliac tumor, measuring 4.8 x 4.7 cm. This patient had undergone a right hemicolectomy 3 months prior to this scan due to a colon tumor. The histologic examination of specimens from the biopsy showed primary peripheral T-cell lymphoma of the colon. A 64-slice CT scanner was used, with the thickness parameter set to 0.5 mm. A 100 ml iodine contrast with V = 5 ml/sec injection was administered prior to the scan.
