Squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus in a middle-aged man

The patient is a 36 years male who often smokes opium. He underwent a gastroscopy exam due to dysphagia. His ulceration was approximately 4.0 x 1.5 x 0.5 cm in size. A mucosa is evident with unevenly expanded tortuous and unclassified capillary intramucosal loops. The histological lab report confirmed the diagnosis of squamous cell carcinoma. Here we see narrow spectrum light (NBI) view.
