
Stage 1A macular hole
Optical coherence tomography (OCT) scan of a 58-year-old female patient with stage 1 macular hole. There is not a full-thickness macular hole. OCT shows a partial vitreous detachment. The defect in the inner retina is covered by the vitreous cortex. The inner segment/outer segment (IS/OS) line is intact. The central parts of the vitreous body are more compacted. The peripheral vitreous is more transparent. BCVA 20/25.
