TAR Syndrome
A female, one and half-month old baby, born following an adequately managed and controlled pregnancy. Notice deficiencies of upper extremities, which were visible immediately after the birth, including congenital thrombocytopenia. She was diagnosed with Thrombocytopenia Absent Radius (TAR) syndrome at birth. Baby's lower limbs appear to be normally developed, including feet. However, the toes have some anomalies, as shown on this photo.
