Technicians inside the Tokamak Fusion Test Reactor (TFTR), Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (NJ). This record-settingreactor was used in the largest magnetic fusion experiment in the US. Tokamak reactors work by circulating atoms in a specially shaped toroidal chamber that then focuses them intoa narrow beam through the use of an axial magnetic field.
