Thoracic aorta replacement
A 69-year-old male patient presented with ascending and descending thoracic aorta aneurysms. Maximal ascending and descending thoracic aorta diameter was 56 mm and 51 mm, respectively. The patient was referred to the two-stage treatment: surgical intervention on the ascending aorta and aortic arch with following TEVAR. In the 1st stage replacement of the ascending aorta and proximal parts of the innominate artery and aortic arch was performed. Anastomoses of the aortic graft to the innominate artery and distal third of the aortic arch are completed. Aortic graft completed with the closure of cannulation sites (intraoperative photograph).
