Thoracic vertebral hemangioma

Colored Sagittal CT scan of a 67-year-old male. A typical case of thoracic vertebral (Th 7) hemangioma, with thickening of the primary vertical weight baring trabeculae leading to corduroy appearance on lateral projection and salt and pepper or polka-dot sign appearance axially. A 100 ml iodine contrast injection was administered prior to the scan. CT scanner's 64 slice Thickness parameter was set to 0.625 mm.
