Venous stasis ulcer
Venous stasis ulcer of the right lower leg, showing discoloration and adjacent deposits of the iron-rich protein hemosiderin that are usually seen in this condition. Venous stasis ulcers can occur in patients with poor venous circulation, resulting from varicose veins or a history of blood clots in the legs.
