
Weiss ring
A 55 years old patient. When performing optical coherence tomography (OCT) scan, a floating opacity of a rounded shape (Weiss ring) in front of the optic nerve disk was perfectly observed. There is no discomfort associated with this floating opacity. The Weiss ring is a symptom of posterior vitreous detachment.
