A 36-year-old male patient. This PET-CT scan shows a large hypermetabolic, F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) avid mass. Diagnosis: Мetastasis, Prolongation morbi of the lower lobe of the right lung with the invasion of the diaphragm and liver. This patient had been diagnosed with left hepatic lobectomy 1 year prior to this exam. See associated 3D VR CT images. Histopathology lab test then revealed colonic adenocarcinoma with hepatic metastasis.
