Infected cat bite on the wrist of a 60 year old man. Pasteurella multocida is a Gram-negative, nonmotile, penicillin-sensitive coccobacillus which is often the cause of cellulitis from cat and dog bites. This wound shows swelling, redness, and lymphangitis.
